  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 apple (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of quinoa
  • 1 1/4 cups of pecan


Quinoa is getting very popular as a great source of essential amino acids and minerals. It is believed that its protein content can replace red meat consumption in a balanced vegan diet.

  1. Bring a pan with the water to a boil and add the quinoa.(10 minutes)
  2. When the quinoa is almost done and the water has been absorbed, add the slices of apple, the cinnamon, and the honey.(1 minute)
  3. Remove from heat and place the preparation in individual bowls.(1 minute)
  4. Top it with the pecans.(1 minute)
