This wholesome, lightly sweetened chocolate quinoa is a delicious way to start your day. Quinoa offers decent amounts of complete protein, complex carbs, and micronutrients, keeping you full for longer. Cacao, on the other hand, will fill you with antioxidants, tryptophan, and theobromine to help you tackle your day with energy and good mood.
If you want to make your chocolate quinoa even more nutritious, garnish it with some chia seeds or hemp hearts. Great fruit toppings include bananas and raspberries.
