  • 1/2 cup of Oats
  • 1/2 Banana (mashed)
  • 1 teaspoon of Chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup of Whole Milk (or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon of HerbaZest Cacao Powder
  • 3 tablespoons of Chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon of Coconut oil


This delicious breakfast or dessert recipe features soft, banana-sweetened overnight oats topped with a crunchy, chocolaty quinoa pop layer. As you crack it open with a spoon, your taste buds will be delighted with the lovely flavors and textures, while you body enjoys a rich variety of important nutrients from quinoa, cacao, and oats.

  1. In a bowl, mix together the mashed banana, oats, chia seeds, milk, and cacao powder. Store in the fridge overnight or for at least 4 hours.(4 hours)
  2. Before serving, add the overnight oats to one or two serving bowls and set aside while you prepare the chocolate quinoa pop topping.(1 minute)
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave. Add popped quinoa to melted chocolate and mix it. Then spread the mixture over oats. Place in the freezer to set for 10 minutes. Enjoy!(10 minutes)
