It is easy to let anxious thoughts overwhelm one's mind and disturb sleep. Luckily, nature's got us covered by offering gentle sleep-inducing and relaxtion-promoting herbs: lavender and chamomile. This tea for peaceful sleep also contains the peel of an orange, which – besides its aroma – has also been found to improve sleep quality.
- Combine all herbs in a glass jar and give them a mix. Store tightly closed.(2 minutes)
To brew yourself a cup of this aromatic bedtime tea, fill a tea insfuer with two teaspoons of the herbs, put it in a cup, pour 8 ounces of boiling water over them, and let steep for five minutes. You may add a splash of milk and honey for extra flavor. Enjoy warm!
