  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil (for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips (for garnish)

Directions

Made with quinoa, almonds, and cacao, these bars turn everyday staples into a nourishing homemade snack. They're rich in texture, naturally flavorful, and free from overly processed ingredients. It's a great option for anyone looking for something wholesome and convenient.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper and lightly oil it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine quinoa flakes, cacao powder, almond butter, 2 tablespoons of water, and vanilla. Mix with a spatula, then use your hands to bring the dough together. If it's too crumbly, add 1 more tablespoon of water.(3 minutes)
  3. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan using your hands or the bottom of a flat object. Bake for 8-10 minutes.(8 minutes)
  4. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift it out and transfer to a cutting board. Then cut into 12 bars while still slightly warm.(10 minutes)
  5. For a topping, melt dark chocolate with a little oil in the microwave in short bursts. Drizzle the chocolate over the bars and add whole almonds. Refrigerate until set. Enjoy!(5 minutes)
