Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons of HerbaZest Cat's Claw Tea
  • 2 cups of water
  • 3 pods of cardamom (lightly crushed)
  • 1/2 vanilla bean
  • 2 teaspoons of honey (or to taste)
  • 1 cup of milk (or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons of whipped cream topping (optional)

Directions

The vanilla cardamom cat's claw latte is a warm, inviting way to enjoy this traditional Amazonian tea. Earthy cat's claw is gently balanced with floral cardamom and smooth vanilla, then finished with frothed milk for a cozy, café-style drink that turns wellness into comfort.

  1. Place the water and cat's claw in a small pot, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.(5 minutes)
  2. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the tiny black seeds with the tip of a knife. Add the seeds and scraped pod to the pot along with the cardamom pods. Steep for another 5 minutes, then remove the cardamom and vanilla pods.(5 minutes)
  3. Stir in honey while the tea is still hot so it dissolves fully.(1 minute)
  4. Heat the milk until steaming. Froth until creamy, reserving the foam.(2 minutes)
  5. Pour the spiced, sweetened cat's claw tea into mugs, filling each about two-thirds. Gently top with the warm milk. Spoon the frothy foam over each latte and top with whipped cream if using. Enjoy!(2 minutes)
