Throat Soothing Jasmine Tea

  • Honey
  • Water
  • Jasmine green tea
    Jasmine green tea
  • 1/4 lemon (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (or to taste)
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of jasmine green tea (loose)


This recipe adds jasmine to the traditional honey and lemon tea for sore throat relief. Both green tea and jasmine have natural anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties that can soothe aching throats. On top of that, jasmine's floral aroma is not only pleasant, but also promotes relaxation.

  1. Bring water to a gentle boil.(4 minutes)
  2. Put the lemon slices, tea leaves, and honey in a cup. Fill the cup with water.(2 minutes)
  3. Steep tea to preferred flavor.(3 minutes)

Drink one cup, as often as required, to ease throat pain.
