Throat Soothing Jasmine Tea

  • Lemon
  • Jasmine
  • Water
  • 2 Lemon (slices, ΒΌ inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons of Jasmine (green tea, loose)
  • 2 cups of Water


This recipe adds jasmine to the traditional honey and lemon remedy for sore throat relief. Jasmine is a natural anti-inflammatory, which helps to soothe the throat, and its floral aroma is pleasant and relaxing.

  1. Heat water to near boiling in a kettle.(7 minutes)
  2. Put the lemon slices, tea leaves, and honey in a cup. Add water to achieve the desired concentration and taste.
  3. Steep tea to preferred flavor.(3 minutes)

Drink one cup, as often as required, to ease throat pain.
