Ingredients

  • Graham crackers

  • Peanut Butter

  • Maple Syrup
    Maple syrup
  • coconut oil

  • Dark chocolate chips
    Dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons of HerbaZest Aguaje Powder
  • 3 cups of graham crackers (finely ground)
  • 6 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil (+ 1 TB for the coating)
  • 7 ounces of dark chocolate chips (for coating)

Directions

These delicious truffles are lightly sweet, nutty, and crunchy. They contain protein and healthy fats from peanuts as well as antioxidants, vitamin A, and phytoestrogens from aguaje. On top of that, the truffles are coated with melted dark chocolate, which adds a decadent touch and complements the other ingredients. You can enjoy these truffles as a snackdessert, or gift for your loved ones.

  1. Place the ground crackers in a bowl and the coconut oil.(2 minutes)
  2. Add the aguaje powder and give it a mix.(1 minute)
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth. Add it to the bowl with the crackers and give everything a good mix until the mixture can be formed into balls.(5 minutes)
  4. Shape 20 balls and place them in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.(15 minutes)
  5. In the meantime, melt the chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil until smooth.
  6. Dip each ball in melted chocolate. Place them on a parchment paper lined plate and refrigerate until set. Enjoy!(10 hours)
