- Remove the outer shells from the tamarind pods.(1 minute)
- Pour the water into a saucepan, add the tamarind pods, and boil them for 30 minutes.(30 minutes)
- Strain the mixture, reserving the liquid. Then add in the sugar and cook the liquid until it thickens to the desired consistency.(10 minutes)
- Let it cool before transferring to a glass bottle.(4 minutes)
