  • 1 cup of honey
  • 2 pints of water
  • 1/2 cup of soy (fresh beans)

Directions

This phytoestrogen-full soybean syrup is a sweet and aromatic way to regulate the effects of imbalanced estrogen and to re-balance your body. It is ideal for women who are approaching menopause, and for those who suffer from Premenstrual Syndrome. Add a few drops of your preferred edible essential oil to the finished syrup to flavor it to taste.

  1. Combine the soybeans with water in a saucepan over a low heat. Simmer the liquid until it reduces to approximately 1 pint.(10 minutes)
  2. Strain the beans from the liquid and compost. Pour the liquid back into the saucepan; add the honey, and heat gently, stirring continuously until the honey is combined.(5 minutes)
  3. Remove from heat and leave to cool; pour into a bottle with a lid, to use as required.(15 minutes)

To relieve menopause symptoms, take a teaspoon of this syrup twice a day. For women with troublesome PMS, take two teaspoons of this syrup, twice a day, during the last week of the menstrual cycle. Store for up to three months in the refrigerator.
