Anti-Anemia Dandelion and Nettle Tea

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of dandelion (Leaves; chopped)
  • 1/4 cup of nettle (Leaves; chopped)
  • 4 cups of water

Directions

Both dandelion and nettle are well-known for long-standing benefits in treating anemia. They are both rich in iron and work by gently boosting the production of red blood cells in the body not only to treat anemia, but also prevent it in the long-term.

  1. Using gloves to prevent stinging, place the nettle leaves in a saucepan with four cups of water; bring to a boil. Drain the water and reserve the herbs.(6 minutes)
  2. Combine the dandelion leaves with the boiled nettle in the saucepan and boil four cups of water in the kettle.(3 minutes)
  3. Pour the water over the herbs; leave to steep for five minutes.(5 minutes)
  4. Strain the herbs and reserve the liquid. Enjoy warm!(1 minute)

Consume one cup a day of this iron-rich dandelion and nettle tea for anemia.
