Consume one cup a day of this iron-rich dandelion and nettle infusion, to boost production of red blood cells and keep anemia away.
- Using gloves to prevent stinging, place the nettle leaves in a saucepan with 1 liter of water; bring to the boil. Drain the water and discard it.(6 minutes)
- Combine the dandelion leaves with the boiled nettle in the saucepan and boil 1 liter of water in the kettle.(3 minutes)
- Pour the water over the herbs; leave to steep for five minutes.(5 minutes)
- Strain the herbs and deposit them on the compost. Transfer the liquid into mugs to serve.(1 minute)
Keep any excess tea for up to two days, ready to reheat in a saucepan over gentle heat.
