Directions

Consume one cup a day of this iron-rich dandelion and nettle infusion, to boost production of red blood cells and keep anemia away.

  1. Using gloves to prevent stinging, place the nettle leaves in a saucepan with one liter of water; bring to the boil. Drain the water and discard it. (6 minutes)
  2. Combine the dandelion leaves with the boiled nettle in the saucepan and boil one liter of water in the kettle. (3 minutes)
  3. Pour the water over the herbs; leave to steep for five minutes. (5 minutes)
  4. Strain the herbs and deposit them on the compost. Transfer the liquid into mugs to serve. (1 minute)

Keep any excess tea for up to two days, ready to reheat in a saucepan over gentle heat.
