  • 1 cup of Orange Juice (Fresh)
  • 1 1/4 cups of Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups of Watermelon (in cubes)
  • 1 Rosemary (leaves)

Directions

This home-made, real-fruit creamy treat uses some of the best fruits available and skips the artificial coloring and added sugars of supermarket versions. Camu camu has more vitamin C than any other fruit in the world, and the combination of watermelon and orange juice perfectly sweeten it up and bring out its refreshing flavor. This is a simple way to take advantage of your ice cream maker and boost both mind and body.

  1. Place your diced watermelon in a blender.
  2. Add a teaspoon of camu camu powder.
  3. Pour in the fresh orange juice.
  4. Pour in the sugar.
  5. Blend until smooth.(5 minutes)
  6. Pour the mixture into a pot and chill in an ice bath until until it is colder than 45°F (7°C).
  7. Once chilled, pour into ice cream maker and follow your makers instructions for freezing instructions. Churn.
  8. Transfer to a container and let sit in the freezer for several hours before consuming.
  9. Put in a sorbet dish, garnish with a rosemary sprig, and enjoy!
