  • 1 cup of Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup of Honey


During winter season, having an herbal remedy that can strengthen the body's defenses and help reduce cold symptoms is invaluable. This homemade syrup combines antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties of honey, ginger, and lemon. It will also help loosen mucus and soothe a cough, thus helping you breathe better and get back on your feet much faster.

  1. Add the honey and lemon juice to a jar.(2 minutes)
  2. Shred ginger and add it to the jar. For a stronger kick, you may add more ginger.(3 minutes)
  3. Close the lid and give it a good mix. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy!(1 minute)

If you are having a cold, take one tablespoon of this lemon ginger honey syrup two to three times a day. For prevention purposes, you may take one tablespoon daily.
