Ingredients

  • 1 lemon (Juiced, to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of flax (Seeds)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black cohosh (Dried roots; chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon of stevia (As required, to taste)
  • 1 liter of water

Directions

This infusion of black cohosh and flaxseed, both phytoestrogenic herbs, can help replace insufficient levels of estrogen. Drink it on a daily basis to restore hormonal harmony and to regulate the unpleasant symptoms of menopause, PMS, or estrogen deficiency.

  1. Place the flaxseeds in a saucepan with 1 liter of water; bring to the boil. Strain any leftover seeds and compost but retain the liquid.(4 minutes)
  2. Put the black cohosh leaves in a mug and fill the mug with the flaxseed water; leave to steep for 5 minutes.(5 minutes)
  3. Strain the herbs and deposit them on the compost. Stir in the lemon juice and stevia according to preferred taste, and serve.(1 minute)

Keep any excess tea for up to two days, ready to reheat in a saucepan over gentle heat.
