  • 1/4 cup of greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 3 graham crackers (or more; crumbled)

Directions

These delicately sweet and tangy overnight kaniwa flakes will brighten up your morning. Making them the night before will only take you a few minutes. But the nutrients you will be getting - like kaniwa's protein and Greek yogurt's probiotics - will keep you nourished and satisfied for hours.

  1. Mix all of the ingredients (except for graham crackers) in an air-tight container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.(4 hours)
  2. Before serving, place some of the crumbled graham crackers at the bottom of two jars or glasses.(2 minutes)
  3. Give the overnight kaniwa flakes a mix and check for sweetness and consistency. Adjust according to your preference by adding a splash of milk to make it less thick or maple syrup to make it sweeter.(2 minutes)
  4. Divide the flake mixture between the jars on top of the cookies. Top it with a little bit of Greek yogurt, crumbled graham crackers, and lime zest. Enjoy!(3 minutes)
