Try this soothing infusion of passionflower and saffron to relax after a long day. Both herbs have mild sedative properties to promote relaxation and relieve anxiety.
- Boil the water in the kettle.(3 minutes)
- Combine the petals and stems in a jar. Pour the boiling water over the herbs and leave to steep for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on desired strength.(1 hour)
- Strain before serving, and discard leftover herbs in the compost bin.(2 minutes)
Consume by the cupful, as required, without exceeding three cups in one day. Reheat in a saucepan to enjoy the infusion hot, or refrigerate and serve with ice to enjoy chilled.
