Analgesic Turmeric and Cayenne Decoction

  • 1 Cayenne (pod; deseeded and deveined)
  • 4 tablespoons of Turmeric (root; peeled and chopped)
  • 1 1/2 liters of Water


Turmeric and cayenne, two of Mother Nature's strongest anti-inflammatory herbs, are combined in this medicinal blend for pain relief. With its powerful anti-inflammatory abilities, it's only necessary to consume by half-cups.

  1. Pour water into a saucepan and add the cayenne pod; boil for 5 minutes before removing the cayenne and discarding the water.(5 minutes)
  2. Place the boiled cayenne back in the saucepan; add the turmeric root and fill with fresh water. Cover the saucepan and leave to simmer for 20 minutes.(20 minutes)
  3. Transfer the resultant mixture into a glass bottle, ready to consume as required.(5 minutes)

Keep the bottle stored in a cool, dark location. Consume this decoction by half-cups to relieve pain, as required.
