Turmeric milk, also known as golden milk, is one of the most popular Ayurvedic beverages around the world, especially during the winter months. It is known for its soothing and healing abilities thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper. The addition of kaniwa enriches its nutritional value with complete protein for an even more satisfying and wholesome experience.

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a small pan and give them a whisk as you heat the mixture on medium heat.(5 minutes)
  2. Take off the stove when the milk is hot, but not yet boiling. Pour into cups and enjoy!(2 minutes)

This kaniwa golden milk recipe can be easily adjusted according to your preference or to what you have in your pantry. Feel free to substitute whole milk for almond, coconut, or other non-dairy milk as well as maple syrup for honey, stevia, or other sweetener.
