Directions
These chickpea buns are a simple, protein-packed alternative to traditional white bread, perfect for sandwiches or as a healthy snack. Made with chickpeas, eggs, and flax seeds, the batter requires no kneading—just blend, pour, and bake. These buns come out soft and fluffy inside, with a lightly crusty, seedy top, making them both delicious and nutritious.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease small ramekins.
- Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.(1 minute)
- Use an immersion blender to blend the mixture until smooth.(3 minutes)
- Pour the blended mixture into the greased ramekins. Sprinkle flax and sesame seeds on top.(2 minutes)
- Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (350°F), or until baked through and lightly browned.(20 minutes)
