  • 3 Onion (green, whole, chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons of Sesame (toasted)
  • 1/4 cup of Rice vinegar
  • 6 cups of Cabbage (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup of Valerian (leaves, chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Stevia


This salad is a relaxing and tasty comfort food, high in dietary fiber. Its combination of zinc, omega-3 fatty acids and the unique soothing effects of valerian turn it into an effective and low-calorie recipe to keep stress in check.

  1. Mix the cabbage, onion, carrots, sesame seeds, and valerian in a large bowl.(1 minute)
  2. To make the dressing, combine the rice vinegar and stevia. Pour over the salad and toss well. Add parsley to garnish.(4 minutes)

The salad may be served right away, at room temperature, or it can be chilled in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
