Maca Silken Tofu Chocolate Mousse

  • Silken tofu
    Silken tofu
  • Dark chocolate chips
    Dark chocolate chips
  • Maple Syrup
    Maple syrup
  • Vanilla extract
    Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons of HerbaZest Maca Powder
  • 12 ounces of silken tofu (at room temperature; drained)
  • 3 1/2 ounces of dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


This delicious vegan chocolate mousse is super-charged with nutrients and supporting compounds. They include soy's phytoestrogens and complete protein, maca's hormone-balancing alkaloids, and cacao's mood-boosting compounds. Light and silk smooth, it is the perfect dessert or mid-day snack.

  1. Start by melting the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Once melted, set it aside to cool.(2 minutes)
  2. When the chocolate has cooled down, place all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.(2 minutes)
  3. Pour into 2-3 serving bowls and refrigerate for half an hour to set.(30 minutes)
  4. Garnish as desired and enjoy!
