There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bagels. What's even better is when you can bake them at home with just a handful of simple ingredients. These easy and quick bagels contain protein, fiber, and healthy fats from sesame and yogurt. They're also a delicious base for healthy sandwiches.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, Greek yogurt, salt, and baking powder until a ball forms.(5 minutes)
  3. Take dough out of the bowl onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for a few more minutes until the dough becomes smooth and uniform, adding more flour if needed.(3 minutes)
  4. Cut dough into 4 equal parts. Form each part into a ball. Roll each ball into thick ropes, then join the ends to form bagels. Place them on the baking sheet.(4 minutes)
  5. Top with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake on the top rack of the oven for 25 minutes.(25 minutes)
  6. Let cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!

Instead of sesame seeds, you can top your Greek yogurt bagels with flax, chia, hemp seeds, and more!
