  • 2 cups of Parsley (fresh)
  • 1/4 cup of Oregano (fresh)
  • 3 cloves of Garlic
  • 1/4 cup of Onion (red onion or shallot)
  • 3/4 cups of Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Lemon Juice
  • 3 tablespoons of Red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt (or to taste)
  • Chili Pepper (fresh or dried flakes; to taste; optional)

Directions

Chimichurri is an aromatic South American sauce that's packed with bright flavors and a little heat. Made with a bunch of fresh herbs, it can not only elevate various dishes, but also enrich them with important vitamins and minerals.

  1. Finely chop the parsley, oregano, garlic, and red onion.(5 minutes)
  2. Place the chopped herbs in a bowl or a jar and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix to combine. Store in the fridge and enjoy!(2 minutes)
