Ingredients

  • Chia seeds
    Chia seeds
  • Whole Milk
    Whole milk
  • Vanilla extract

  • Maple Syrup
    Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of HerbaZest Carob Powder
  • 1/4 cup of chia seeds
  • 1 cup of whole milk (or non-dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (or to taste; optional)

Directions

If you're not a fan of the chia pudding texture, this blended version is for you. It's creamy, naturally sweetened with carob, and rich in important nutrients, including chia's protein, fiber, and healthy fats. It's wholesome enough to be served for breakfast.

  1. Place all of the ingredients to a high-powered blender and process until smooth and creamy.(2 minutes)
  2. Transfer to an air-tight container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.(4 hours)
  3. Garnish with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Great toppings for this chia mousse with carob powder include whipped coconut cream, raspberries, and cacao nibs.
