  • 1 cup of Pumpkin seeds
  • 2 cups of All-purpose flour (or whole-wheat)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  • 2 cups of Water (warm)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons of Dry active yeast (1 package)

Directions

To make your bread more wholesome, try enriching it with amaranth, a South American pseudocereal, which contains all essential amino acids and other valuable nutrients. Pumpkin and oats also enrich it with protein as well as healthy fats, fiber, and key minerals. This bread comes out soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside, and sturdy enough to use for healthy sandwiches.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl and kneed them until you reach a fluffy-consistency dough. Add a little more flour if it seems wet or sticky.(5 minutes)
  3. Transfer the dough to a bread pan lined with parchment paper.(2 minutes)
  4. Bake for about an hour. Then take out and set aside to cool completely before serving. Enjoy!(1 hour)
