Peaches and cream cheese are a match made in heaven! This easy toasted peach sandwich gives this classic combo a healthy twist. Rye bread is a good option for those watching their diet and searching to improve gut function as it has low glycemic index and high fiber content. The fiber in rye bread is also considered a prebiotic, which serves as food for good bacteria in the intestinal tract. Despite their natural sweetness, peaches are low in calories and rich in potassium, zinc, and vitamins A and C. They have been shown to boost immunity, protect the nervous system, and reduce the signs of aging.

  1. Lightly toast the bread slices.(3 minutes)
