  • 3 teaspoons of matcha tea
  • 24 ounces of almond milk
  • Maple syrup (to taste; optional)
  • 1 cup of water (+ 1-2 TBS; hot)
  • Ice cubes (according to preference)


If you are searching for a refreshing and healthy beverage for hot days, you will enjoy this vegan matcha iced latte. Matcha, a finely ground powder from specially grown green tea leaves, is packed with nutrients and offers numerous health benefits. Chilled and paired with the milk from almonds, it is the perfect spring and summer treat.

  1. Place the matcha tea powder in a small bowl, add a little bit of water (1-2 tablespoons), and whisk it until smooth. Then add the remaining water and give it a mix. Refrigerate it for 10-15 minutes.(15 minutes)
  2. Fill two mason jars with ice cubes according to preference. Add the almond milk and maple syrup, if using.(3 minutes)
  3. Pour in the matcha tea and give it all a good stir. Enjoy!

You can enjoy your matcha on its own or top it with whipped coconut cream and some chocolate chips.
