Homemade Marinated Olives

  • 1 pound of olives
  • 4 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 6 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Orange rind (from 1/4 orange)
  • 3/4 cups of olive oil


These easy marinated olives will surprise you not only with their delicious flavor, but also simplicity. They are infused in an aromatic blend of olive oil, garlic, fresh herbs, with a touch of orange. Whether you enjoy them as an appetizer or throw them in a salad, they won't disappoint. 

  1. Add the olives to a jar or an air-tight container.(1 minute)
  2. Add the garlic, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, crushed red pepper flakes, and orange rind.(1 minute)
  3. Pour the olive oil over the olives, put the lid on, and place the container in the refrigerator to marinate for 48 hours.(48 hours)
  4. Take out of the fridge 1-2 hours before serving. Enjoy!
