  • 15 ounces of Chickpeas (1 can)
  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Paprika powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Ground Turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Ground ginger
  • Black Pepper (a pinch)

Directions

Chickpeas' relatively neutral flavor offers a rich variety of options for delicious seasonings. This recipe gives those protein-rich legumes a curry-like flavor and a lovely crunch, making them a wonderful addition to salads or an addictive yet wholesome midday snack.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C).
  2. Drain the chickpeas. Place them on a clean kitchen towel and dry them really when, while removing the skin as much as possible.(5 minutes)
  3. Place the chickpeas on a baking sheet, drizzle them with olive oil, add the salt, and give it all a good mix. Spread them in one layer and bake for 50 minutes, flipping them halfway through.(50 minutes)
  4. Take out of the oven and add in the spices. Set aside to cool. Enjoy!

Store these crispy chickpeas for 2-3 days.
