  • 1 1/2 cups of Almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon of Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of Carob Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla extract
  • Salt (a small pinch)

Directions

This frothy, creamy, and delicately sweet latte is the perfect beverages for the upcoming cold months. Its natural sweetness and malty undertones come from carob, while its creaminess and a good dose of healthy fats come from peanuts and almonds. With a hint of cinnamon, this homemade latte will be your go-to comfort drink this season.

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk them to combine. Put the heat on to medium and heat up the mixture, while stirring constantly to prevent burning. Simmer for five to eight minutes until the mixture becomes uniform and thickens a little bit.(8 minutes)
  2. Pour the mixture into a heat-proof blender and process for 30 seconds until it becomes frothy.(30 seconds)
  3. Pour into one large cup or two smaller once. Garnish as desired and enjoy!

You may enjoy your carob peanut butter latte on its own or top it according to your preference, including marshmallows, chocolate shavings, and whipped coconut cream.
