Abstract

Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine (eCAM) is a peer-reviewed medical journal founded in 2004. It brings a scientific approach to traditional medicinal practices, with research on both clinical outcomes and biological mechanisms of action. The journal carries a 2013 impact factor of 2.175 and is published four times a year. Currently, all articles are open access. Abstracts can be found on PubMed and Scopus, among many other databases.
