  • 1 cup of Lentils
  • 2 cups of Water
  • Salt (a pinch; optional)


These 2-ingredient lentil wraps are rich in protein and very easy to make. They have a mild flavor that goes well with both savory and sweet toppings. Soft yet sturdy, they make for a wonderful, nutritious base for wrap sandwiches.

  1. Soak the lentils in water for 4 hours.(4 hours)
  2. Place the lentils along with the soaking water in a blender, add salt (if using), and process until smooth.(3 minutes)
  3. Fry like pancakes (about 2 minutes per side) in a lightly oiled skillet. Enjoy right away or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.(24 minutes)

Fill these lentil wraps with savory toppings - e.g. lettuce, tomatoes, hummus, feta, and guacamole - or sweet options, like peanut butter and jelly, homemade hazelnut cream, and more.
