Ingredients

  • Lucuma
    Lucuma
  • 2 tablespoons of Honey (or your preferred sweetener)
  • 1/2 cup of ice cubes
  • 1 cup of Greek yogurt (plain)
  • 2 cups of Almond Milk
  • 4 tablespoons of Lucuma (powder)

Directions

Lucuma brings much more than sweetness to the table. It has been shown to help reduce blood sugar levels and blood pressure. This Peruvian fruit not only has a mild, agreeable flavor, but also lots of fiber and a very low fat content.  Furthermore,  lucuma, also called "the last gold of the Incas", is a good source of potassium and iron, which makes it a great addition to a balanced diet.

  1. Put ice cubes into a blender
  2. Add Greek yogurt, lucuma powder, honey, and almond milk
  3. Blend at high speed until the mixture gets a smooth consistency
  4. Serve it in cold glasses and enjoy!
