  • 2 tablespoons of HerbaZest Cacao Powder
  • 1/2 cup of oats (rolled for a firmer bite or instant for a softer granola)
  • 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips

Directions

This chocolate granola is light and gently crisp from quinoa and oats, with rich cacao flavor and subtle nuttiness from peanuts. It has a soft crunch and just the right amount of natural sweetness, perfect with milk, yogurt, smoothie bowls, or fresh fruit.

  1. Combine the melted coconut oil, peanut butter, maple syrup, and cacao powder in a large bowl and mix until smooth and glossy.(5 minutes)
  2. Add the puffed quinoa and oats, stirring until everything is evenly coated.(2 minutes)
  3. Spread the mixture in an even layer on a parchment-lined baking tray and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes.(10 minutes)
  4. Remove from the oven, immediately sprinkle the dark chocolate chips over the warm granola, and let it sit undisturbed as it cools. Once completely cool, serve or transfer to an airtight glass jar for storage. Enjoy!(10 minutes)
