This handbook features more than 50 common herbs and over 250 recipes for herbal remedies that use them. Not limited to just infusions and tinctures, it also contains easy to understand recipes for herbal honey, oils, water, and a myriad of other preparations. The supplies needed and precise amount of ingredients are given so that nothing is left to guesswork. Many of the recipes in this book can be used both as remedy and a culinary addition.
About the Author
Kami McBride is a herbalist and teacher with a focus on sustainable practices. She originally developed the curriculum on herbal medicine at the University of California San Francisco School of Nursing. Her herbal cooking features the use of plants to help prevent disease and common ailments.
