About the Author:
Manuel Villacorta is a registered dietician with over 15 years of experience. He earned his masters of science in nutrition and food science from the San Jose State University. He founded the international weight loss program Eating Free, and he has also been a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. He currently resides in San Francisco, where he has a private practice.
