New Study: Resveratrol in Grapes as a Cure for Neurodegenerative Disease

Resveratrol, a natural antioxidant found in grape skin, may provide the first known cure for a deadly neurodegenerative disease known as adult-onset neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis (ANCL), according to a study published in the Human Molecular Genetics journal.

Studies have also shown that resveratrol protects plants from infection, increases the effectiveness of anti-HIV drugs, improves endurance, counteracts the effects of a high-fat diet in mice, and may protect against cancer. Full study findings here:
