Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (powder)

- 1/2 cup of water (boiling)
- 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar (preferrably unpasteurized)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of sage (dried leaves)

Sage has anti-inflammatory properties that make it a useful herb for healing sores. Regular use of this gargle will soothingly reduce swelling and pain in the throat.
Gargle a teaspoon of the mixture every 30 minutes. The rinse will be more effective the longer you gargle for; do not swallow, as the taste will be unpleasant.
