Rose water is one of the easiest yet beneficial beauty remedies one can make at home. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and mildly astringent properties, rose water can be used as a toner to soothe skin irritations, sprayed on hair to eliminate dandruff, added to face creams for deep hydration, and more.

  1. Place the rose petals in a pot and cover them with water. Put the pot over low heat and keep uncovered, stirring, until steam starts forming.(5 minutes)
  2. Then cover the pot with the lid and leave the pot on the stove for about 20 minutes.(20 minutes)
  3. Turn off heat and strain the mixture, reserving the liquid.
  4. Transfer your homemade roe water to a jar and use as needed.

This homemade rose water is best kept in the refrigerator and used within a week.
