Rose water is one of the easiest yet beneficial beauty remedies one can make at home. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and mildly astringent properties, rose water can be used as a toner to soothe skin irritations, sprayed on hair to eliminate dandruff, added to face creams for deep hydration, and more.
- Place the rose petals in a pot and cover them with water. Put the pot over low heat and keep uncovered, stirring, until steam starts forming.(5 minutes)
- Then cover the pot with the lid and leave the pot on the stove for about 20 minutes.(20 minutes)
- Turn off heat and strain the mixture, reserving the liquid.
- Transfer your homemade roe water to a jar and use as needed.
This homemade rose water is best kept in the refrigerator and used within a week.
