Astragalus' uses date back to ancient China where it was used for strengthening the immune system. Since then, modern science has not only been found it to possess immunostimulant properties - thanks to its richness in astragalus polysaccharides - to prevent microbial infections, but also to help the the body recover from them more quickly. Rose hips, or the seed pots of the rose plant, contain a richness of immunity-boosting vitamin C that surpasses even that of the oranges.
