  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 5 ounces of water (filtered)

Directions

Using a salt water mouthwash is a well-known remedy for maintaining good oral hygiene. This particular recipe is enhanced with sage, which is known for its strong antibacterial effects. When used regularly, this sage mouthwash will help prevent dental plaque formation and cavities.

  1. Place eight sage leaves in a heat-resistant glass bottle.(1 minute)
  2. In a cup, mix together boiling water and salt until dissolved.(2 minutes)
  3. Pour the salt and water mixture over sage leaves. Shake the bottle. Use as needed.

Use your sage mouthwash after each teeth brushing, at least twice a day.
