Ginger is well-known for its therapeutic and soothing effects on the digestive system. This infusion is considered an effective, natural way to relieve nausea due to motion sickness. It can also help reduce indigestion from overindulgence.

  1. Pour one cup of hot water over peeled ginger root and cinnamon bark. Set aside to steep,(5 minutes)
  2. Add the ground cloves and mix thoroughly.

This infusion should be consumed while hot. Up to five cups can be consumed per day while symptoms persist. Alternatively, people who suffer from motion sickness can drink two cups an hour before a long car trip or boat trip in order to prevent the onset of nausea.
