  • Easy
  • 35 minutes
  • 1 application

Ingredients

  • 1/3 avocado (pitted)
  • 1 tablespoon of buttermilk (as needed)
  • 1/4 kiwi (peeled, overripe)

Directions

This nourishing moisturizer is ideal for regular use on dry, rough, dehydrated, mature, or chapped skin. It blends gentle buttermilk with all the aroma, moisturizing power, and antioxidants of avocado to leave skin feeling velvety soft. Kiwi, on the other hand, adds some much-needed vitamin C and a very gentle astringent cleanse.

  1. Scoop the pulp from the avocado and use a fork to mash it with the kiwi and enough buttermilk to form a creamy paste.(3 minutes)
  2. Use fingers to apply the cream to face, neck, and décolleté using upward strokes. Leave on for between 20 - 30 minutes, preferably in sunlight to allow the avocado oils to heat and penetrate skin.(32 minutes)

This cream will yield a single treatment, and should be mixed as required (as opposed to preparing and storing in advance) so as to receive maximum benefits from the antioxidant properties of the avocado. Use as required, and rinse with warm water to remove.
