The Journal of Alzheimer's Disease was first published in 1998 with the objective of understanding the causes, psychology, pathogenesis, and treatment of Alzheimer's disease, a form of dementia. It contains research, hypotheses, and reviews, as well as letters to the editor. The journal is a member of the Neuroscience Peer Review Consortium, and it is indexed in over 20 databases, including PubMed and EBSCO.
