Ingredients

  • 2 tomato (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of basil (fresh, finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic (frssh, finely chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • Salt (to taste)

Directions

Basil and tomatoes are a match made in Italian cuisine heaven. The juicy tomatoes paired with sweet aromatic basil are pleasant, uplifting, and full of antioxidants. They go really well on a slightly toasted bread, as a side salad, or by the spoonful. 

  1. Dice two medium tomatoes and place them in a bowl.(5 minutes)
  2. Add the basil, garlic, black pepper, salt, and olive oil. Give it a mix.(2 minutes)
  3. Set aside to let the flavors assimilate.(15 minutes)
  4. Serve chilled and enjoy!
